For my senior thesis project I chose to create a cardboard cat house brand housecat, to pay tribute to my two beloved cats Finn and Binx. I went with the name housecat because it acknowledges the fact that your cat lives in your house while also describing what this product is. Their very own house!
I chose to pursue this project because of its fun nature. If you have a cat you know just how silly they can be and I wanted to emulate that in my project. Plus who doesn’t love taking pictures of their cats! Now you can do so with a cool accessory in the background.

Sandies Sardines
The first cat house I design is a food truck that goes by the name of Sandies Sardines, of course “selling” fishies to the cat customers.
For the set of stickers that comes with this box I wanted to incorporate some road related illustrations as well as fish to diversify the imagery. Along with a set of stickers to decorate your box with the kit includes an instruction manual to help make assembling a little bit easier.
Astro-Cat
The second cat house I designed is a rocket ship. I went with this route to keep it in the theme of transportation. This kit also included a set of stickers filled with planets, stars, and astronaut cats to decorate the rocket ship with.
Although this box only comes with one opening, it creates a safe and confined space for your cat to take their long naps, in a fun and exciting way.
